| Since the establishment of Kingland Group Ltd. in the year 1982, we have been paying special stress on the activities of saving and minimizing energy sources, carrying out clean production, preventing pollution and protecting the environment. We have successfully constructed the environmental-protecting project, and the control and recycling of wastewater, waste-gas and waste-residue has achieved the "zero" emission standard on the whole. The virescence rate of the whole factory area has reached 30%. Kingland Group was awarded the title of "The precursor of environmental protectors" by the State Agricultural Ministry and Environmental Protecting Ministry, and was continuously awarded the honorable title of Provincial Environmental-Protecting Precursor and the Precursor of Virescence.
Scientific Authentication
In the year 1995, we entrusted Zhejiang University with the composing of the "Comprehensive Wastewater-Disposal Schemes" and maximally reduced human beings' impact on the environment with automated control facilities introduced from abroad. In 1998, we introduced scientific and technical payoffs and set up ferrous sulfate recycling project, and therefore achieved the objective of "using waste to control waste and change waste into treasure". In the year 1997, after the argumentation of various authority institutions, an "Environmental-Influences Report" came into being. This changed direct burning of coals into water gas burning, which drastically stopped the release of black smoke in the production processes. In the new galvanized pipe project which was extended in the year 1999, we changed coal burning into petroleum burning, which ultimately sorted out the problem of sulfur dioxide emission.
Complete Range of Facilities
We established an environmental-protecting center and have successively invested more than 10,000,000 RMB in the equipment for wastewater disposal, soot disposal, ferrous sulfate and industrial dust recycling, thus a complete environmental-protecting system was formed. The system has a rational structure and is fully equipped, which has authentically actualized scientific, automated and routinized operations and the production of pipes has basically achieved the targets of zero emission rate of production water and no smoke being released from the chimney.
Satisfactory Achievement
In the year 1998, Kingland Group invested 1,600,000 RMB in the ferrous sulfate recycling project, which can efficiently make use of the rationale of different grades of acidity and different temperatures decide the dissolvability of sulfur and ferrum, and therefore useful substances can be separated from sulfur and ferrum. Since the equipment was put in to operation, over 4900 tones of ferrous sulfate and over 25000 tones of sulfuric acid were recycled, which had helped to save 4,000,000 RMB for waste matters disposal and brought 333,800 RMB direct economic returns to the company. |
